Paneer Mushroom


Ingredients:

6 large button mushrooms
3 tbsp grated paneer


1 medium sized onion- finely chopped
1 medium sized tomato-grated





1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp jeera powder
1/4 tsp haldi
1/4 tsp red chilli powder


1/2 tsp sugar
pinch of dalchini powder


pinch of cardamom powder
salt


1 tbsp water
1 tsp oil

coriander lever finely chopped for garnishing (optional)

Method:

  1. Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan. Add finely chopped onion and saute for a few minutes till the onion is soft. 
  2. Add the finely grated tomato and cook well. Once the tomato is cooked add the mushroom pieces and let them saute for a few minutes. 
  3. Add the red chilli powder, haldi powder, coriander powder and jeera powder. mix well. Add water and mix well.
  4. Once the mushrooms are cook add salt and grated paneer and sugar and mix well.
  5. Garnish with dalchini powder, cardamom powder and coriander. 
Tips:

  • You may also add crumpled paneer.
  • do not cook for too long once the paneer is added.
  • You can avoid the coriander leaves for garnishing.
